It's important to stay busy in times like these, so here are some new features for you to try out! The Meals tab has become much more powerful with date filters, search filters, and customized sorting. We have added the ability to mark meals and activities as favorites so you can re-use their photos and descriptions easily. We have also made improvements to automatic experiments, with time-of-day filtering and a few bug fixes. Read more below!

Favorite Meals and Activities

Many of us eat the same things on a daily or weekly basis. Now there is an easier way to log your favorite meals and activities!

To mark a meal or activity as a favorite and re-use it:

  1. Tap the Heart icon in the top right corner of any meal or activity card

  2. When logging a meal, tap into the Search Favorites text box

  3. Select a meal from your favorites

  4. Make any adjustments

  5. Tap Save

It is now easier to re-arrange your experiments list. It is also now possible to use a time-of-day filter for automatic experiments! This will allow you to group meals by the time of day that they occurred, for example: all breakfasts or all dinners.

For a more in-depth discussion on experiments, please read our Experiment guide.

Creating an automatic experiment:

  1. Navigate to the Experiments section in the navigation drawer

  2. Tap the Plus button in the top right hand corner

  3. Give the experiment a title and a description and select Automatic

  4. Choose your filters (all filters are now optional)

  5. Tap Save to save your experiment

The experiment will automatically populate with all meals that match your search criteria.

Re-ordering and hiding charts is now more intuitive. This will come in handy when we release the new charts we are working on!

Meal Card Sharing
The share button is now available directly on the meal card instead of being inside the overflow menu.

Bug Fixes

In addition to all the new features, we've also fixed a few bugs.

  • Spinning wheel of death when trying to load an automatic experiment
