🥑 Adding Meal Ingredients
When adding meals, you can add as little or as much information as you would like. You could add a quick picture, a simple description, or the full macronutrient composition of the meal.
In order to track the macronutrient composition of your meals, you will need to add ingredients to the meals that you track. We have made this as easy as possible by automatically suggesting ingredients based on what is in your meal photos. If your meal does not have a photo, or the suggestions are not accurate, you can always add the ingredient manually by searching our food database.
To add ingredients to a new meal:
Tap the green plus button
Add a favorite meal, recent meal, or create a new meal by clicking "new meal" at the bottom of the screen
When adding a new meal, all the fields are optional. You can add a photo, pick a meal category (breakfast, snack, etc), adjust the mealtime, add a description, and/or add ingredients. If you only want to quickly track meals, you could add a description or picture. If you'd like to add nutrition information for your meal, you can click "find ingredients". If you added a photo of your meal, the "suggested ingredients" will auto-populate.
If you are adding nutrition information and clicked "find ingredients", you can search for an ingredient, adjust the type and portion size and add the ingredient by clicking the checkmark in the top right corner.
When you have added all your meal information, you can save the meal by clicking the checkmark in the top right corner.
